Executive Chef Nathan Bates...

In December 2009, Nathan took the reins of UBC's culinary ascendency after running the kitchen at Portland's Lucy's Table for a half dozen years.

Nate's career began at the Michelin-rated "Fifth Floor" in San Francisco, where he helped to prepare the 90th birthday dinner for Julia Child made famous in the climax of the movie "Julie and Julia."

Our esteemed chef is pictured at left with his creations for our 5-Course "South American Menu" which Uptown Billiards featured in the summer of 2010.
